How do I know what battery I have?On the top of the battery there is a label that lists all of the information you will need to locate the proper replacement battery for your notebook: The voltage of the battery pack, the capacity of the battery pack, and the chemical composition of the battery pack (Li-ion, NiCad, or NiMH) (I think part numbers and things like that are on the batteries too, but I don't know if our site will use those to find the battery)
